Over 2,000 verses in the Bible deal directly with money, and 15% of what Jesus said had to do with money. Jesus knew that the biggest indicator of a person’s hear tis how they spend their money and he was not afraid to talk about it. So why do we get awkward when we talk about it? If disciples want to be like Jesus, we have to ask Him, “Jesus, what do you think about money?” Don't Say "$#%&X" In Church

With money matters taking up over 2000 verses and 15% of Jesus' teachings, it is obvious that money matters to God.  Not that he needs it, but because God wants our hearts and He knows that money is the number one competitor for our affections.  Money attitudes are a Lordship issue, and Jesus wants to know - who is your master?
