There are many stories in the Bible of people who stepped out of their ordinary lives and moved in faith. Noah is someone who moved in faith for God. Noah taught his family the word of God, so when it was time to trust him, they were ready. They were ready, they got set and they moved in faith.
Are you and your family ready? Are you ready to hear from God? Are you ready to listen and then see the opportunities in front of you?
Genesis 6:9 “Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.”
Noah was able to trust in God because he knew God. We have a perfect example of how to live our lives in Jesus.
Are you looking for opportunities to serve God? Are you ready? Once you are ready, are you equipped? God will never show us a need without giving us some tool to help with that need. Whether the tool is encouragement, knowledge or material items, God will give us what we need.
Philippians 4:19 “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
This summer we are going to work on moving. We are going to get ready, get set and then start moving in faith.
What is God asking you to do?
We have opportunities in front of us. Are we ready to see those? Are we set to act on them? Are we going to move in faith? When we are ready to hear from God, and set to do something, we will be able move when the opportunity arises.
Thoughts to Ponder
Are you ready to serve where God calls you? What do you need to do to get ready?
Are you set to serve where God calls you? What tools or skills do you need to develop to be set?
Are you willing to move where God calls you? It is great to be ready and prepared, but then you have to move in faith.
